PHP version

Pick your site's PHP version and change the upload and memory limits.

Each domain can use a different PHP version. New apps need recent versions, and some old sites only work on older ones.

  1. Open the PHP settings

Go to Websites & Domains and, for your domain, open PHP (or PHP Settings).

  2. Pick the version

Choose the version from the PHP version list. Use the newest version your app supports.

  3. Adjust the limits if needed

On the same page you can change:

    SettingWhat it is for
    memory_limitMaximum memory for one script
upload_max_filesizeLargest file that can be uploaded
post_max_sizeLargest form submission, at least as big as upload_max_filesize
max_execution_timeHow many seconds a script may run
  4. Save

Click Apply or OK. The change takes effect immediately.
