For your domain to show your site and receive email on Plesk hosting, its DNS must point to the RHQ server. The server IP is shown in Plesk under Websites & Domains, on the domain page, and in your activation email.
Pick the option that matches your domain:
Log in at the registrar where you bought the domain and add or change:
| Type | Name | Content |
|---|---|---|
| A | @ | PLESK_IP |
| A | www | PLESK_IP |
| A | mail | PLESK_IP |
| MX | @ | mail.yourdomain.com, priority 10 |
Delete other A or MX records for the same names so they do not conflict.
In Cloudflare, under DNS → Records, add:
| Type | Name | Content | Proxy |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | @ | PLESK_IP | Proxied or DNS only |
| A | www | PLESK_IP | Proxied or DNS only |
| A | mail | PLESK_IP | DNS only |
| MX | @ | mail.yourdomain.com, priority 10 | — |
The mail record must stay on DNS only or email will not work. If you keep the site proxied, set the Cloudflare SSL mode to Full (strict) once the SSL certificate is installed in Plesk.
Check it
Once DNS has propagated (from a few minutes to a few hours), check on your computer:
nslookup yourdomain.com
nslookup -type=MX yourdomain.comyourdomain.com should show the Plesk server IP (or Cloudflare addresses, if the proxy is on).
